Pastor Overview
1996
Rev. Palani A. Peter, ordained, appointed, and anointed by the Lord Jesus Christ, was born and raised in a non-Christian family in Jog Falls, Shimoga District, Karnataka. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on January 31st, 1996, at the age of 19.
He felt a strong calling to serve God unconditionally and pursued theological education, earning a Certificate in Theology (CTH) from the Gospel of Asia Training Centre in Mangalore. Rev. Peter served as a pastor and district leader under the Believers Church in India for 3.5 years, where he was instrumental in spreading the gospel, reaching many villages, and bringing numerous people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
2000
In 2000, he further Persued his theological studies, earning a Bachelor of Theology degree from the Gospel for Asia Biblical Seminary in Tiruvalla, Kerala. After completing his degree, he served as a Bible college teacher at Believers Church Bible College in Mysore and Mangalore for one and half years before moving to KGF to teach at YRC Bible College in Kolar District.
2005
While pursuing his theological studies, Rev. Peter simultaneously engaged in church planting, which led to the establishment of the Assembly of El-Shaddai Mission Church in 2005. The ministry grew as more people came to know the Lord through the preaching of the gospel.
Rev. Peter’s journey has been marked by trials and tribulations, but with the biblical support of scriptures like Jeremiah 29:11, he has remained steadfast in his faith and ministry.
2008
For advanced studies, he moved to Bangalore and joined ACTS Academy of Higher Education, where he earned Master of Divinity (ATA) degree in 2008.
2011
He also completed a Master of Theology in Religion and Philosophy from an ATA-affiliated Bible college in 2011.
2024
Current Ministry (1996 - 2024):
Rev. Peter continues to be actively involved in various ministerial and social activities, including teaching at Bible colleges, preaching, and overseeing the Assembly of El-Shaddai Mission Church, which has grown to include 250 communicant members. He also conducts, Child Dedication & Naming Ceremonies, marriages, and funeral services.
Family Overview
Rev. Peter is married to Malini Peter, and they have two grown-up sons, Seth Peter and Joshua Peter. The entire family is committed to serving the Lord.
